Sony has launched the Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program, which accepts applications through December 2026 to develop entertainment products on the Soneium blockchain. Selected projects can receive technical infrastructure, marketing and business development support, community-building opportunities and consideration for potential investment, although participation does not guarantee funding. The initiative covers console, PC and mobile games, anime, manga, music, films, esports, immersive experiences and creator communities, with applicants expected to connect intellectual property with onchain technology. Sony has not confirmed any crypto integration directly into PlayStation, but the program builds on Soneium Spark and Soneium For All, which previously selected 43 projects from more than 1,950 applications.
