Soluna and Bitdeer have expanded their Project Kati 1 partnership in Texas by adding approximately 7 MW of bitcoin mining capacity. Bitdeer’s total deployment at this wind-powered site will now reach 35 MW, representing approximately 2.42 EH/s of computing power. The expansion is expected to be completed by November and fully completes the K1BC phase of the project. Bitdeer will supply and own the mining hardware while Soluna will provide infrastructure, power and data center hosting. Project Kati 1, located in Willacy County, Texas, is an 83 MW facility connected to wind power generation.
