Share

Solana’s V1 upgrade has expanded each transaction’s capacity to 4,096 bytes, representing a 3.3x increase from the previous 1,232 bytes. This enhancement allows the network to better support complex applications such as ZKP proofs and large multisignature transactions. Solana’s on-chain activity hit an all-time high with over 10 billion non-vote transactions in Q1, followed by approximately 9.7 billion in Q2. Revenue from Solana’s on-chain economy reached $327 million in Q3, up from $265 million in Q2, representing a 23.4% increase. With this upgrade, Solana has more room to scale and support growing activity across DEXs, stablecoins, and derivatives, potentially strengthening the ecosystem’s financial value and SOL’s growth.
