Agave no longer includes the commission rate in reward metadata when custom collectors are active, even though the rate remains used to calculate rewards. The issue affects the traceability of applied fees rather than an identified reduction in payouts, which P2P.org says continue to reconcile with expected amounts. Verifying an older reward requires accounting for the delay between commission changes and reward periods, as well as the history of the vote account and stake account. Jito, Marinade and Trillium offer reconstruction or measurement methods, but their coverage limitations do not always establish the effective rate. Proposals to improve RPC responses and retain rates by epoch could facilitate verification, although no deployed fix has been established at this stage.
