Solana crypto stalls near $74 after disappointing July—can SOL reclaim $80?

Share

Solana’s native token SOL traded near $74 after its early-July rally faded, failing to reach the $80 level despite July historically being one of its strongest months with a median return of 21.4%. The Average Directional Index stood at 13.53, well below the 20 threshold, indicating that neither buyers nor sellers have established clear control. US spot Solana ETFs held approximately $889 million in combined assets as of July 27, with cumulative net inflows reaching roughly $1.16 billion. Trading volume has continued to decline since June’s sell-off, reinforcing the view that investors are waiting for a stronger catalyst. SOL remains trapped between key support near $72 and resistance around $78-$80, with buyers lacking the conviction needed for a sustained breakout.
