Solana could issue 18.9M fewer SOL as demand heats up

Solana’s double disinflation proposal has reached quorum with 45.24% participation and roughly 30% in favor. If adopted, the disinflation rate would rise from 15% to 30%, reducing new SOL issuance by approximately 18.9 million over six years, worth about $1.47 billion. The network also set a record of 1.5 million agentic transactions in a single day, surpassing Base for the first time. Additionally, Charles Schwab plans to add SOL trading to Schwab Crypto in the coming months alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum. SOL has climbed from $70 in early August to $107, though its RSI at 85 signals overbought territory.
