Slush Wallet, the self-custodial wallet from Mysten Labs for the Sui blockchain, now allows network fees to be paid in stablecoins. The feature, launched on October 14, 2026, for sends and payments, was expanded on October 28 to swaps, staking, unstaking, deposits, and withdrawals. Slush charges no platform fees for standard actions, while validators continue to receive their compensation in SUI. The wallet converts stablecoins in the background using Sui’s programmable transaction blocks and gas sponsorship, allowing users holding stablecoins but no SUI to avoid managing the conversion themselves.
