This response comes after Blast, another Ethereum Layer 2 network, announced its shutdown citing operating costs exceeding revenue. The developer confirmed that Shibarium is not abandoned, but provided no details on spending amounts or long-term funding structure. Shibarium continues to receive infrastructure attention, including a resolved reorganization and migration to a more stable RPC infrastructure. The Shibarium explorer reports that 54% of blocks are currently indexed.
