Senate Republicans Post Revised CLARITY Act Text Five Days Before Cloture Vote

Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis released a revised version of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act on September 11, five days before the cloture vote scheduled for September 15 at 2:15 p.m. The bill regulating digital assets needs 60 votes in the Senate, where Republicans hold 53 seats. Seven Democrats have expressed concerns about key issues including ethics, consumer protection and illicit finance. Polymarket puts the odds of the CLARITY Act being signed into law in 2026 at 18%.
