A senior presidential official described the expected contract values as « very large and meaningful figures. » This trend is being driven by surging demand for advanced memory chips, particularly high-bandwidth memory (HBM), used in AI training and inference workloads. SK Hynix has already secured a multi-year technology partnership with Nvidia in June 2026 and received unprecedented investment proposals from global technology firms.
