Amazon has overtaken Walmart to become the world’s largest company by revenue on the Fortune Global 500 list, a position the retail giant had held for over a decade. Amazon is expected to be the first company to reach $1 trillion in revenue in the coming years, with a current valuation of $2.6 trillion. In 2025, AWS generated $128.7 billion in revenue, a 20% increase, and the company plans to spend $200 billion in 2026, primarily on cloud and artificial intelligence.
