Wistron, the Taipei-based electronics manufacturer spun off from Acer in 2001, reported $70.2 billion in revenue in 2025, more than double the previous year, with servers accounting for 70% of total sales. The company invested $761 million in two complexes near Fort Worth, Texas, covering 1.09 million square feet to assemble Nvidia AI supercomputers, expected to create over 800 jobs. Wistron secured all capacity of its new 287,000-square-foot server plant in Zhubei, Taiwan, through 2026, and already generated $55 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026. The group made the largest jump on this year’s Fortune Global 500 ranking, soaring 298 spots to reach 198th place.
