Samsung has announced a partnership with the Solana Foundation to integrate cross-border USDC stablecoin payments into Samsung Wallet on 82 million eligible Galaxy devices in the United States. This feature will be available during the last week of October 2026 and will allow users to send digital dollars abroad without needing a separate cryptocurrency app. Samsung is partnering with Coinbase and Bastion for stablecoin custody and payment infrastructure, while wallet-to-wallet transfers will be fee-free. Stablecoin supply on Solana has increased by nearly 20% over the past 12 months, with transaction volume exceeding $5.25 trillion since the beginning of 2026.
