David Schwartz, Ripple’s former chief technology officer, posted on X a photo of himself opening physical Fuzzy Cards booster packs in his kitchen. In May, he opened a trustline for the FUZZY token, while New York’s Ripple Swell 2026 conference is preparing to host the parallel FuzzyCon event. The game is based on a January 1, 2014 order to swap 1 XRP for 1 BTC on the XRPL, which went unfilled, and on the launch of the FUZZY meme token in 2025, which had more than 11,500 holders by October 2026. Its Swiss publisher XPUNKS GmbH offers 150 unique cards, including about 60 holographic versions, distributed through irreversible destruction of digital NFT packs using the XLS-20 standard. Roughly 100,000 booster packs have already been burned, but FUZZY remains a volatile asset tied to the XRP market, and retail distribution has only begun rolling out.
