Ripple lands third Korea deal as XRPL hosts 2M AI payments – What next for XRP?

Ripple has secured its third partnership in Korea this year, with Jeonbuk Bank becoming the first regional bank in the country to use Ripple Payments for cross-border transfers, following earlier deals with K Bank and Kyobo Life Insurance. The XRP Ledger is now processing 2 million payments between AI agents, benefiting from low fees and 3-5 second settlement times. Stablecoin liquidity on the XRPL ecosystem has risen by over 8% this week, exceeding 80 million dollars in inflows and pushing the total above 1 billion dollars. Only 0.16% of DEX trades currently use XRP as the bridge asset, indicating that adoption remains at an early stage. These developments could represent a key catalyst for XRP in the third quarter of 2025.
