Ripple has opened a Delta One trading desk within Ripple Prime, its prime brokerage arm. The platform allows institutional investors to bet on US-listed stocks, major stock indices, and crypto without directly owning them. This move positions Ripple as a direct competitor to Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan, which traditionally dominate this market segment. Ripple secured its place by acquiring prime broker Hidden Road for $1.25 billion in 2025, before joining the NSCC, the clearinghouse behind US stock trades. The company, valued at $40 billion following a $500 million investment led by Fortress and Citadel Securities, holds over $1 billion in regulatory net capital and raised $475 million in debt this year.
