Ripple’s London office has become the company’s largest international hub outside the United States, according to Cassie Craddock, its managing director for the UK and Europe. When it moved into its current premises in 2018, it occupied two floors; it now spans three, with every desk occupied and capacity exceeded. Ripple chose London because of the country’s strong capital markets, mature legal system, experienced regulators and concentration of financial talent. In January 2026, the company received an Electronic Money Institution licence and cryptoasset registration from the Financial Conduct Authority, enabling it to extend regulated cross-border payment services to UK institutions. It has also pledged more than £5 million to UK universities and launched, with Aviva Investors, a tokenized share class of the £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger.
