Real Betis have completed the signing of Irish striker Troy Parrott from AZ Alkmaar. The 24-year-old Dublin-born player has committed to a five-year contract with the Seville club. The transfer is worth approximately 20 million euros, comprising 16 million euros in fixed fees and 4 million euros in performance-related add-ons. Parrott impressed during his two seasons in the Eredivisie, scoring double-digit goals in each campaign. This marks the first Irish frontline striker to play in La Liga in several years.
