Rangers eliminated from Europe after penalty shootout loss to Jablonec

Scottish club Rangers were eliminated from the UEFA Europa Conference League on August 27, losing 4-3 on penalties to FK Jablonec after the two-legged tie finished 1-1 on aggregate. Rangers had won the first leg 1-0 at Ibrox through Ryan Naderi, but Cammy Devlin received a red card in the second leg and Vakhtang Chanturishvili equalized in the 73rd minute. This summer, Rangers were also knocked out of the Europa League by Jagiellonia Bialystok, losing 3-2 on aggregate. The Glasgow club has now gone eight consecutive European away matches without a win.
