Quant (QNT) surged approximately 178% over seven days, including a single-day jump of 72%, rising from around $65 to nearly $200 before stabilizing near $178. The rally was triggered by The Clearing House’s September 24 announcement selecting Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative, providing the network’s interoperability, orchestration, and transaction management layer. This partnership places Quant at the heart of U.S. banking infrastructure, as The Clearing House’s payment networks clear and settle over $2 trillion daily. The tokenized deposits network is expected to go live for participating institutions during the first half of 2027. This U.S. deal follows Quant’s work with major UK banks including Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, and Nationwide on the UK’s tokenized sterling deposits project.
