Quake AI targets AI agents as primary users of cloud services

Quake AI, the new name for Northern Data, became part of RUM Group, the holding company created after Rumble acquired the data center operator. The company expects its customers to be primarily AI agents interacting directly with its cloud infrastructure rather than human users. Quake AI already operates approximately 22,000 NVIDIA H100 and H200 GPUs across nine data centers in Europe and North America and targets around 250 MW of power capacity by 2027. Northern Data raised its 2026 revenue outlook to €170 million to €190 million, a 30% increase from previous estimates, while GPU utilization stood at approximately 85% in March 2026. A $270 million multi-year contract with Together AI and an announced partnership with Tether support this strategy, but the technical details of blockchain-based coordination between AI agents have yet to be specified.
