PSV Eindhoven have signed Dutch defender Lutsharel Geertruida, 26, on a one-year loan from RB Leipzig. The loan fee is approximately 6 million euros, with a purchase option set between 12.5 and 15 million euros. Leipzig originally signed Geertruida from Feyenoord in 2024 for 20 million euros. The player, who made 28 Premier League appearances during a loan spell at Sunderland last season, returns to the Eredivisie after a two-year absence. He will wear the number 2 shirt at Eindhoven and brings versatility to a squad dealing with the long-term absence of Jerdy Schouten.
