Nvidia says Groq racks will be online this year following $20 billion purchase

Nvidia announced that its Groq 3 LPX racks are in full production and will be deployed this year at neocloud Nebius alongside Vera central processors and Rubin graphics processors. This acquisition, valued at 20 billion dollars, represents the company’s largest purchase on record. The Groq 3 LPX rack can deliver 3400 tokens per second according to a benchmark from Artificial Analysis. CEO Jensen Huang projected 1 trillion dollars in cumulative sales for Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems through 2027, with a quarter of data center space intended for coding applications allocated to Groq chips.
