‘Privacy working as intended’: Zano details 1-month rollback after $250M exploit

The Zano team confirmed that a hacker minted approximately $250 million in fake ZANO tokens and fUSD stablecoin through a code error in the Gateway Address feature. The attacker minted 36.89 million ZANO tokens and $18.45 million fUSD, inflating the supply by 240% for ZANO and 153% for fUSD. The team executed a one-month network rollback to erase these falsified assets. Despite stable and ongoing network recovery, ZANO was trading around $5, near a key support level, reflecting low investor confidence.
