Princeton Digital Group seeks up to $1.2 billion loan for Malaysia data centers

Singapore-based Princeton Digital Group is negotiating a syndicated loan of up to $1.2 billion over three years to expand its data centers in Malaysia, particularly in the Johor region adjacent to Singapore. Five banks are participating in the lending consortium: HSBC Holdings, Maybank Investment Bank, OCBC Bank (Malaysia), Standard Chartered Bank and United Overseas Bank. In 2024, the company secured a $280 million green loan for its Johor campus; the new facility is more than four times that size. Princeton Digital Group’s current portfolio exceeds 1.8 GW of capacity across multiple Asian markets, with a strategy focused on AI-ready infrastructure and long-term contracts with hyperscalers. The loan is part of a broader financing strategy announced earlier in 2026 that includes multi-billion-dollar debt plans.
