Physical Superintelligence (PSI), a physics research lab based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, says a system powered by an unreleased Anthropic model produced a complete proof of the Aaronson-Ambainis conjecture in three days. The proof was reportedly accepted by Lean and then improved twice, yielding an influence bound of at least roughly 0.0025 times ε^(5/2) divided by d^6. PSI published a paper authored by David Turturean and a 9,454-line Lean formalization on GitHub, with no added axioms or unfinished steps. Researchers from Stanford and other specialists are independently reviewing the result, but the model remains private, preventing outside verification of the full proof-generating process.
