Payward, the parent company of Kraken exchange, is partnering with Hyperliquid to offer on-chain perpetual futures to US traders through the HIP-3* protocol. As of September 16, 2026, HIP-3 hosts 142 active builder-deployed markets generating 2.29 billion dollars in 24-hour trading volume with 3.98 billion dollars in open interest. The formal proposal submitted to the CFTC remains pending approval.
