PayPal announced on March 17 that its dollar-pegged stablecoin PYUSD is now available in 70 new markets, up from just two countries previously (the United States and the United Kingdom). The circulating supply now exceeds $4 billion, roughly quadrupling from approximately $1 billion in August 2025, making it the seventh-largest stablecoin by market capitalization. Many of the new markets also offer rewards on PYUSD holdings, though this feature is notably excluded in Singapore and the United Kingdom.
