Paramount Skydance raises full-year profit guidance, remains ‘confident’ about WBD merger

Paramount Skydance reported second-quarter results beating Wall Street expectations with revenue of $6.91 billion. The company raised its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $3.8 billion to $3.9 billion citing cost savings from the Skydance merger. Streaming revenue grew 9% to $2.47 billion while Paramount+ added 2 million subscribers to reach 81.6 million total, and linear TV revenue declined 9%. CEO David Ellison reiterated confidence in the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, with an antitrust trial scheduled for March 2027.
