Palantir announced on September 8 a partnership with Nebius Group, designating the group as its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner for commercial customers. This collaboration integrates Nebius’s compute and inference capabilities directly into Palantir’s enterprise platform, including the AIP, Ontology, Foundry, and Apollo products. Customers will be able to deploy and fine-tune open AI models using their own data without surrendering control of their compute, models, or data to a third party. Nebius, listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker NBIS, brings modular data centers located at secure power sites to the arrangement. This partnership extends Palantir’s sovereignty agenda beyond government markets into the broader commercial sector, addressing strict data localization requirements across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
