OpenWorld completed its business combination with VerifyMe and began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker OPNW on October 1. The new entity, led by digital-assets executive Matthew Shaw, is positioning itself in institutional-grade tokenization of real-world assets. The company aims to digitize real-world assets rather than launch a single token or consumer trading app. OpenWorld also intends to pursue a listing on Figure OPEN, a blockchain-based trading platform, targeting November 2026.
