Alexander Embiricos, product lead for OpenAI’s always-on AI agents, will speak at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 to present Dots, just days after its official launch on September 29, 2026 at DevDay. Each Dot runs continuously in the background on dedicated cloud infrastructure, connects to over 4,000 applications, and relies on GPT-6 Astra technology. Access at launch is limited to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium subscribers, with the first Dot offered at no additional cost. The presentation comes less than three weeks after launch amid competition from Meta’s Muse, which launched in early September 2026. TechCrunch Disrupt will take place October 13-15 at Moscone West in San Francisco.
