The NYSE has expanded its tokenized securities initiative to six transfer-agent partners by adding Broadridge Financial Solutions, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate alongside Securitize and tZERO. According to the New York Stock Exchange, Broadridge, Computershare and Equiniti collectively serve nearly 5,000 publicly listed companies, including almost 99% of the S&P 500. The planned platform will combine the NYSE’s Pillar matching engine with blockchain-based systems for settlement and custody, with potential 24/7 trading, instant settlement, dollar-denominated orders and stablecoin funding. Broadridge will provide blockchain-based shareholder governance, communications and digital identity verification, while its distributed-ledger repository platform already processes more than $360 billion in tokenized assets daily. The venue remains subject to regulatory approval, with no confirmed launch date.
