Nvidia solidifies its position as the world’s most valuable company with a market capitalization of approximately $5.786 trillion, a gap of nearly $897 billion over Apple ($4.889 trillion). The AI chipmaker reported more than $96 billion in revenue in a recent quarter, representing growth of more than 100% year over year. Its forward price-to-earnings ratio of around 15-17 times suggests the market is not pricing in endless hypergrowth. Apple has seen its stock rise 22% year to date in 2026, driven by iPhone demand and its services business. Nvidia first overtook Apple in mid-2025, briefly ceded the top spot to Apple in July 2026, then widened the gap again.
