Nvidia will announce $2 billion in AI investments in Europe this week, adding to the approximately $8 billion deployed through 14 funding rounds in 2025. The chipmaker notably invested 1.7 billion euros in Mistral AI’s Series C and 500 million pounds in Nscale. In parallel, Nvidia is deploying massive infrastructure with 18,000 Grace Blackwell systems in France, 14,000 GPUs in the UK and 10,000 GPUs in Germany, totaling over 3,000 exaflops of compute capacity. The EU is set to launch its AI Gigafactories tender on July 30, 2026, backed by 10 billion euros in public support.
