Elon Musk’s companies X Corp and SpaceXAI said on Monday they have resolved their federal lawsuit in Texas against Apple, which accused the tech giant of conspiring to unlawfully monopolize markets for smartphones and generative AI chatbots. The lawsuit claimed Apple violated antitrust law by exclusively integrating ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence features on iPhones and other devices. The court filing did not explain the reasons for dismissal or indicate whether a settlement was reached. X Corp and SpaceXAI said they will continue pursuing claims against OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT and also a defendant in the lawsuit.
