Stock futures rose on Sunday evening as investors tried to recover from the S&P 500’s weekly loss. S&P 500 futures gained 0.4%, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 154 points, or 0.3%, and Nasdaq-100 futures advanced 0.6%. The recovery followed a week in which the Dow lost more than 650 points, the S&P 500 fell 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.2%, amid rising oil prices. Brent crude climbed above $116.72 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate reached $103.27, driven by concerns about possible U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran. Moody’s maintained France’s Aa3 rating with a negative outlook, while markets await the Federal Reserve’s decision on Wednesday, which is expected to keep interest rates within a target range of 3.75% to 4% based on futures pricing.
