Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet has announced an investment of 2,100 BTC, worth approximately $132 million, in Super League. This transaction represents 4.9% of its total reserves of 43,000 BTC. The company will be renamed Superplanet, Inc. and will operate as its U.S. Bitcoin treasury platform listed on Nasdaq under the ticker SUPA. Its existing advertising and media business will continue to operate as a separate segment. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to shareholder approval and regulatory processes in both the United States and Japan.
