Meta unveiled the Meta VR Glasses, a mixed-reality headset priced at $1,299, at Meta Connect 2026 on September 23. The device, smaller and lighter than Apple’s $3,499 Vision Pro, features a 5K micro-OLED display with 37 pixels per degree and includes eye and hand tracking with pinch gestures. The glasses are compatible with existing Quest controllers and the full Quest content library. Power is delivered via an external compute puck that clips onto the user’s body, with approximately three hours of battery life. The device is scheduled to ship in spring 2027.
