Noah Shinn, 23, founded Instinct, an AI personal assistant that saw its valuation surge from $2.5 billion to $10 billion in just months after raising a total of $1.35 billion. The company raised $250 million in August then an additional $1 billion this week in a Series C round. The assistant, accessible only by invitation, is approaching $1 billion in annual transaction volume despite zero marketing spend. Meta, which launched its own AI agent Muse, is watching Instinct’s rise closely, with chief AI officer Alexandr Wang publicly mocking the startup on X.
