Ledger has warned about hardware implants sold by CryptoBilis that are capable of transmitting wallet recovery phrases over LTE. These implants leave the secure chip and operating system of the wallet untouched. Ledger’s Genuine Check feature cannot detect this type of tampering. Ledger hardware users can thus be compromised without their device appearing modified.
