Ledger, a hardware wallet manufacturer, is investigating a crypto theft estimated between $72 million and $86 million. The losses stem from users who purchased Ledger devices from CryptoBilis, an authorized reseller in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Ledger has asked CryptoBilis to pause all sales and warned customers not to set up recently purchased devices. Tether froze USDT connected to the incident, which follows a data breach at competitor Trezor one month earlier.
