Upbit operator Dunamu teams up with Visa on stablecoin and AI payments

Dunamu, which operates the Upbit exchange platform, is partnering with global payments giant Visa to develop financial and payment services based on stablecoins and artificial intelligence. The two companies are considering stablecoin payments, international remittances, and a business model based on Open Standard’s dollar stablecoin OUSD. They are also exploring new services combining AI with stablecoin payment and settlement rails. The partners will examine the technology and infrastructure needed for AI-driven payments, particularly Agentic Commerce, where AI agents can search for goods or services and handle purchases and payments for users. The exact structure of the services has not yet been determined and plans will be refined gradually while considering legal and regulatory requirements.
