Kraken Says Withdrawals Are Stuck as Funding Problems Hit 23 Services

Kraken told customers on Tuesday that withdrawals were stuck, marking the second service fault disclosed in a single day. The platform said it had identified the cause but provided no timeline, no list of affected coins, and no explanation for what broke. Kraken’s status board listed 23 of its 725 funding services as degraded. These issues follow a deposit pause across more than 20 blockchain networks on September 4, including Cosmos (ATOM) and Celestia (TIA), which remains unresolved. Parent company Payward, targeting a 2027 IPO and a listing on Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange, sees this string of faults complicating its ambitious plans.
