Prediction market platform Kalshi is reportedly in advanced talks to raise approximately $1 billion in a new funding round at a valuation of $40 billion. The round would be led by existing investors Sequoia Capital and Wellington Management, potentially including Tiger Global Management and Dragoneer Investment Group. This valuation nearly doubles the $22 billion valuation achieved in the previous $1 billion Series F round closed in May.
