KakaoPay Securities pushes into tokenized equities to open South Korean stocks to global investors

KakaoPay Securities, South Korea’s largest mobile brokerage with approximately 9 million stock accounts, is partnering with Dinari and Siebert Financial to tokenize Korean-listed stocks and make them accessible to foreign investors through blockchain infrastructure. Dinari will provide the technical architecture with its dShares custodial model ensuring a 1:1 backing with underlying equities, preserving dividend and voting rights for token holders. Siebert Financial will handle distribution to US investors through the project called “K-Stock Global Gateway,” with a target launch in the first half of 2027.
