A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration violated Anthropic’s First Amendment rights when it blacklisted the artificial intelligence company earlier this year. U.S. District Judge Rita F. Lin of the Northern District of California said the government had illegally retaliated against Anthropic. The company was deemed a supply-chain risk for constitutionally protected expressive activities.
