BC Partners Credit on Monday announced an initial investment in LIV Golf as part of a targeted $300 million financing deal aimed at helping the struggling circuit emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund withdrew its massive funding of more than $5 billion since the league launched in 2022. The financing requires bankruptcy court approval and would enable LIV to plan a 2027 season with a 10-tournament schedule, half of them at international sites. Players have a few weeks left to decide whether they want to be part of LIV Golf 2.0.
