Seven companies postponed or withdrew their IPOs in the third quarter, up from four in the second and three in the first, according to Renaissance Capital data. Total IPO proceeds reached approximately $146.9 billion across 110 deals, down 30% from the same period last year. Bond yields at a 19-year high and concerns about AI spending are weighing on the new offerings market. Investors have also been burned by narrow consumer products like Peloton, GoPro and Fitbit, which partly explains the pushback on Oura.
