Infinigence AI eyes Hong Kong IPO as China’s demand for AI compute grows

Infinigence AI, a Chinese AI cloud infrastructure startup affiliated with Tsinghua University, plans a Hong Kong IPO in the first half of 2027. Backed by Tencent and Baidu, the company has raised 4.3 billion yuan (641 million dollars) and carries a pre-IPO valuation of 14.3 billion yuan. It operates a network of 53 data centers across 26 Chinese cities. The firm specializes in heterogeneous computing infrastructure, optimizing performance across different chip architectures, a capability that has become critical given US restrictions on advanced chip exports to China.
